True Story.
God has placed YOU in your child(ren)’s life because He knows that you are the one that will know and love your child(ren) well . He knows that you will provide the best place for them to learn, grow and be safe. He will equip you, as you walk hand and hand with Him.
Tending to our children’s hearts is a noble and difficult calling. The Truth is, it’s not as easy as it looks or as easy as we thought it would be. There is a unique pressure, weight, guilt, and even shame when it comes to caring for our children. At times it can be an all-encompassing fear that we don’t have what it takes.
We turn on social media and we scroll through the brilliantly constructed fig leaves of other parents looking “all together”, children gleefully sharing their prized possessions with each other, teenagers smiling and embracing their parents, we catch glimpses into their perfect days : these pictures of pretend perfection taunt us and accuse us. The accusations at times: “we are not enough, we are too much.”
Tending to young hearts is a valiant calling. THE TRUTH IS: We are raising warriors in the middle of a war, their hearts are the prize. It takes courage. It takes wisdom and discernment. It takes knowing the TRUTH of what is going on and it takes perseverance.

Heart Connections: A Biblical Workshop on Raising Children
This workshop is designed to equip parents, guardians, and child care workers of children of all ages with Biblically driven, practical tools for tending to our children's hearts at each stage of life. We will learn to build maturity and security in our children as we prepare them for a world not yet known. You will be encouraged and given effective ways to keep your child's heart connected at any age and learn why it is never too late to make a difference. We will also spend time praying Scripture over our families. Workshops available for:
Parents/ Caregivers
Church Staff/Daycare Workers
This is a 5 week - 2 hour workshop, available online and in person and customizable for your group!

Student APS Assessment Counseling
Ages 8 and up
Temperament Counseling will help your child understand themselves and how to effectively interact with those around them. The APS Assessment is used to determine your God Given Temperament. These profiles are given for the sole purpose of helping people better understand yourself and to determine your individual needs. When your needs are not being met, it will cause stress and anxiety.
APS Assessment YOUTH Counseling- 2 sessions- the cost is $100.00, including the assessment test. This is an INVALUABLE tool in helping students reduce anxiety and find healthy ways to meet their needs.
Trust Based Relational Intervention

TBRI® is an attachment-based, trauma-informed intervention that is designed to meet the complex needs of vulnerable children. TBRI® uses Empowering Principles to address physical needs, Connecting Principles for attachment needs, and Correcting Principles to disarm fear-based behaviors. While the intervention is based on years of attachment, sensory processing, and neuroscience research, the heartbeat of TBRI® is connection. Watch the video below for more information.
