Grief Counseling
Find Healing and Hope through Biblical Counseling
Grief doesn't follow a timeline, and it rarely looks the way others expect it to. Whether you're grieving the loss of a baby through miscarriage or infant loss, or carrying the quiet, complicated grief of estrangement from an adult child, you deserve a space to process without clichés, without pressure to "move on," and without judgment.
I walk alongside you through the hard, honest questions — the ones that don't have easy answers — and help you find footing again, one step at a time. This is not counseling that rushes you past your pain or explains it away with phrases like "everything happens for a reason." It's counseling that sits with you in it, and helps you find real healing through Christ.
You may be walking through:
- The loss of a baby through miscarriage or infant loss
- Grief that friends and family don't know how to talk about
- Estrangement or distance from an adult child
- The strain grief and loss can put on a marriage
- Fear and anxiety around future pregnancies or relationships
- A need to grieve and heal without losing your faith — or your other relationships — in the process
How I can help
Together, we'll work through the hard questions from ground zero, and I'll help you find language for your grief that honors what's true rather than what's easy to say. I'll help you and your spouse learn to grieve together instead of apart, and guide you through relationships with extended family and friends after trauma — protecting the bridges that matter most, even in the hardest moments. When you're ready, we can pray over your home, your marriage, and your fertility, and walk together through whatever comes next, including the fears that can surface in a new pregnancy after loss.
From Families We've Walked With
"We lost our first daughter at full term gestation, and like many hard seasons in life that you don't anticipate ever happening to you, we didn't know where to go from ground zero. Kim sat with us through all the hard, difficult questions, and helped us piece together our acceptance of healing through Christ — all while keeping the phrases 'everything happens for a reason' and 'God needed an angel' out of the explanation. She taught us how to support each other in daily grief, and guided us in extended family and friend relationships post-trauma. When we were ready, Kim led us in anointing our home, praying over our marriage and fertility, and eventually supporting us through the hardest spiritual battles when pregnant with the new life the Lord brought us to love. We are so grateful God gave Kim her gifts of wisdom and counseling. Anyone who knows Kim is abundantly blessed."
